摘要：In the early 1990s, Deift and Zhou introduced the nonlinear steepest descent method as a tool to determine asymptotics of solutions of Riemann-Hilbert problems. They illustrated the method by deriving detailed asymptotic formulas for the mKdV equation on the line. In this talk, I will consider the derivation of analogous asymptotic formulas for the mKdV equation on the half-line. A special emphasis will be placed on understanding the effect of the boundary.

Jonatan Lenells博士简介：Jonatan Lenells，瑞典皇家理工K8凯发数学系副教授😹，曾为剑桥大学Marie Curie研究员，是当今国际可积非线性波动方程的初边值问题和黎曼-希尔伯特问题研究的领军人物👩🏻‍🏭🧏🏽；一直从事可积系统、应用分析和非线性波方面的研究🍸；已发表高质量学术论文60余篇，其中在国际数学物理顶尖杂志Comm. Math. Phys.上发表论文若干篇。可积系统与应用分析是当前国际数学物理的研究热点🐪，Lenells博士领导的研究团队在这一方向处于国际领先水平。
